Radiation exposure one of the top health technology hazards of 2012

The ECRI Institute recently released their report outlining the Top 10 Health Technology Hazards for 2012.

Number two on their top-ten list is “exposure hazards from radiation therapy and CT”. While this has moved from the number-one spot last year, it is a clear statement that proper radiation exposure is an ongoing concern and safety risk to patients.

A regulatory college in BC will work to ensure proper training and ongoing education for medical technologists in BC – Mail the Minister and make a difference today.
